The Story
Project Description
This is a four-story brick apartment building in San Francisco. The street front has bay windows, a cornice, fire escapes, an entry, and garage doors along the sidewalk. No street address is published with these photos.
The earlier frames show the prep: paint lifting off the bays, cornice, and roof parapet; window frames scraped and glass masked; scaffolding and dark mesh up the facade. A side wall was photographed while a ladder and paint buckets were still on the sidewalk. The later frames show the finished street front: white bay windows, white cornice and trim, white fire escapes, a white entry surround, and white garage doors.
